About Us

True Care And Companionship For Your Pets

Thank you for considering Paw Keepers for your dog walking and in-home pet-sitting needs. As the owner and sole proprietor of Paw Keepers, I am proud to offer personalized, high-quality pet care services that you and your furry friends will love.

At Paw Keepers, we prioritize the health, safety, and enjoyment of the pets in our care, and we want to ensure that our service is the best fit for you and your furry friend. Our services require friendly, non-reactive dogs. We do not accept dogs that bark, lunge, or exhibit aggression toward others. Dogs must walk cooperatively on a leash, be non-reactive to other dogs and people without excessive pulling or direction, and be comfortable with being walked by a stranger. If during our in-person meet and greet, your dog displays these behaviors, we reserve the right to decline service for everyone's safety.

Additionally, we understand that accidents happen, and pets can produce odors, but excessive pet odors or odors from excessive cleaning of pet accidents can create an unsanitary and potentially unsafe environment for our pet sitters. We are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for both your pet and our pet sitters, and we are unable to accept pet-sitting assignments in homes with such conditions. We understand that these considerations can be sensitive, but please know that they are in the best interest of your pet and our staff.

Before requesting services, we ask that you consider a few things about your dog's personality, behavior, and home environment to ensure that we can provide the best care possible:

  • Is my dog friendly and non-aggressive towards other dogs and humans?

  • Is my dog well-behaved on a leash and able to walk calmly and safely in public?

  • Is my dog non-reactive to other dogs and people on a leash?

  • Is my dog able to follow basic commands, such as sit, stay, come, and leave it?

  • Can my dog walk on a leash without excessive pulling and direction?

  • Does my dog exhibit any aggressive behavior towards other animals or humans in the home?

  • Has my dog been socialized with other dogs and humans?

  • Does my dog have any anxiety or fear-related behaviors?

  • Is my dog comfortable with strangers entering the home?

  • Is my dog prone to destructive behavior or excessive barking?

  • Is my dog fully house-trained and able to wait to go outside for potty breaks?

  • Does my dog have any accidents or marking behaviors inside the house?

By considering these questions, you can determine if our services are the best fit for your dog's personality and needs. We value the safety and happiness of every pet in our care and appreciate your honesty and openness in assessing your dog's behavior and home environment. We understand that every dog is unique, and we strive to provide personalized care tailored to their individual needs. If you have any concerns or questions, we are here to help and provide guidance.
